The Institute of Internal Auditors South Africa has presented Unisa's Department of Auditing with a prestigious token of appreciation in acknowledgement of its outstanding contribution to the internal auditing profession.

The university's College of Accounting Sciences has reached an important milestone with the conclusion of the preparatory phase for the new Master of Accounting Sciences programme, developed in partnership with the Special Investigating Unit.
As part of a sustained partnership, the university's College of Accounting Sciences is currently hosting the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) Accreditation Review Team as part of an ongoing accreditation process.
