Mihai Vlad, from the Bucharest University of Economic Studies in Romania, is a recipient of the Erasmus+ grant from the European Union and will spend a semester at Unisa.
Unisa students recently claimed top honours at the EDHE Intervarsity Competition, hosted at the university’s Muckleneuk Campus, outshining competitors from institutions like the University of Limpopo and the University of Mpumalanga.
Unisa, in partnership with the KwaZulu-Natal Premier's Office, held the annual Dr John Langalibalele Dube Public Lecture in Durban. The lecture honoured Dube's enduring vision for collective empowerment. Business leader, Faith Khanyile, and dignitaries, including Premier Thami Ntuli and Unisa's Vice-Chancellor, Prof Puleng LenkaBula, reflected on Dube's legacy and challenged the audience to embrace his principles to drive positive change in society.
Unisa is spearheading a multi-university collaboration to transform Buffalo City into a hub of sustainability and resilience, aligning with the Vice-Chancellor's call for innovative research in 10 catalytic niche areas.
Driven by a calling to serve with empathy and integrity, Prof Kgaugelo Boya's approach to leadership in the Department of Business Management prioritises student and staff empowerment and growth. With an impressive academic background, his leadership is rooted in humility and a genuine commitment to shaping future leaders.
