It is with great pleasure that I announce the appointment of Professor Soul Shava to serve as a member of the Indigenous Knowledge/ Intangible Cultural Heritage National Authentication Panel of the Department of Sports, Arts and Culture on a three-year term starting from the 1st of August 2021 to 31 July 2024. This appointment follows shortlisting and an interview process that found him suitable by the panel. Prof Shava has expertise in Indigenous Knowledge Systems and Cultural Heritage, making him an ideal candidate for the position.
