The Department of Science and Technology Education strives to be a leading ODL teaching department for pre-service and in-service science and technology education teachers in Southern Africa and the Southern African Developing Community (SADC) countries.
Our mission is to address the needs of the people of Southern Africa and beyond and deliver well trained teachers in Science and Technology Education. Our commitment is to produce Science and Technology teachers capable of meeting the needs of their countries and regions while being globally competitive. Our students will be exposed to a modern teaching and learning environment to be applied in their teaching context.
