Lack of resources and overburdened caregivers compound the need to contribute knowledge and skills of Human Resource Management in a manner that would benefit the health care environment. We intend to collaborate with HospiVision to touch the lives of HospiVision personnel, health care practitioners and volunteers through mentoring and coaching support via basic human resource management processes.

Furthermore, HospiVision experiences the burdens of physical and monetary resources to ensure quality of care. HR policies and documents of HospiVision will be reviewed and changes will be recommended. An award and recognition activity is included for the volunteers of HospiVision for motivation purposes. HospiVision is a non-profit organisation that was established in 1997 to provide psycho-social and spiritual care, counselling and training as well as physical support in the health care environment. They touch lives of sick people and those around them and give them hope through counselling, spiritual care and physical support.

They further facilitate the establishment of sustainable integrated support systems that reach out to and are in service of the sick, the vulnerable and the disadvantaged, their families and those who care for them. All programmes are community owned and volunteer driven at HospiVision. HospiVision experiences the burden of the South African healthcare environment such as a lack of physical and monetary resources to ensure quality of care.
