We are delighted to announce the 4th International Conference on Operations Management organised by the Department of Operations Management at the University of South Africa and the Department of Quality and Operations Management at the University of Johannesburg. The conference will take place Glenburn Lodge, Muldersdrift, South Africa from 4 – 6 August 2025.
The aim of the conference is to provide a platform for researchers and practitioners from academia, government and industry to meet and share cutting-edge development in the field of operations management. We take great pleasure to invite you to submit under one of three categories:
All competitive and work in process papers will be double blind peer reviewed by a specialist panel in the various disciplines as outlined in the topic section. Authors and presenters will receive detailed feedback as soon as possible after submission.

The conference template available on the AOMC website must be used for all submissions: abstract, extended abstract or paper submissions applying the relevant instructions.

Extended abstract: maximum 4 pages, including figures and references
Full paper: 7000 words excluding references and figures

Selected papers will be published with Unisa Press.
The conference will be held at Glenburn Lodge in Muldersdrift. Glenburn Lodge, on the banks of the Blaauwbank and Crocodile Rivers is situated within the World Heritage Site, the “Cradle of Humankind”. The lodge is a mere 30 minutes from both Johannesburg and Pretoria and conveniently close to the Lanseria airport. On-site accommodation is offered in 2 – or 3-bedroom chalets, each bedroom en-suite as well as en suite hotel rooms. The accommodation available to the AOMC 2025 conference is limited, so delegates are encouraged to book as early as possible. Accommodation has to be booked and paid directly with Glenburn Lodge.
There are various other lodges and guest houses in the proximity of Glenburn Lodge for alternative accommodation. Websites such as booking.com or lekkeslaap.co.za may be consulted for options.

After registration, delegates will receive an invoice to submit for payment. Payments can be made by means of direct deposit into the conference bank account or by credit card. Please note that no direct link to payment is supplied on the website. The conference secretary will send you a link to the credit card portal.
Notes:
Please note that a registration will allow you a maximum of TWO presentations at the conference. If you want to do more than two, there will be an extra charge.
The registration fees exclude the following: accommodation, airport transfers, air tickets, conference dinner, meals and refreshments not served as part of the conference programme.
