| Purpose: The purpose of this module is to enable the student to apply the basic principles of fluid mechanics to solve practical problems. The student will also be equipped with sound knowledge of the fundamentals of mass transfer operations, understanding of molecular diffusion in fluids and know how to evaluate mass transfer coefficients.
