| Purpose: The purpose of this module is to introduce the student to the physics, chemistry and technology of the manufacture of mechanical pulp, bleached chemical pulp, and the finishing of manufactured paper. The knowledge obtained in this module will enable students to operate pulping, bleaching and paper finishing machinery at optimum levels of productivity and quality. |
