Purpose: To introduce students to the theoretical prospective, methodology and psychological basis of human behaviour in a world, African and South African context. The study includes processes such as biological, development, learning, perception, cognition, motivation, attitudes, prosocial behaviour, aggression and conflict, and social processes such as groups. Students who have completed this module would have a fundamental knowledge base of psychological and social processes in the work and self-employment context that contribute to individual differences and work behaviour and the improvement of interpersonal work relationships and organisational effectiveness.
