| Purpose: It is a practical module for beginners and/or first time agricultural practitioners and as such the purpose of this module is to introduce such students to basic standard " Hands On" farm practices. Upon successful completion of this module, students who are beginner and/or first time agricultural practitioners will be able to perform animal husbandry, crop husbandry and pertinent office management practices under close supervision whilst maintaining consistency with principles of profitable " Good Agricultural Practices" (GAP). It is essential to point out that students who successfully complete this module will be ready to undertake the advanced practical module (AGP3701 -Practical Agriculture 2) wherein they will be trained to perform profitable " Good Agricultural Practices" under minimum supervision.
