| Purpose: Collection and preservation of plant specimens; management of a small herbarium; the use of keys in the identification of indigenous flowering plants; taxonomic concepts and scientific naming of plants; distinguishing characteristics of the most important plant families and plant invaders; endemic and endangered plants. Students registering for this module are required to have regular access to a computer and the internet in order to download or read essential study material from the myUnisa module site and the world wide web. This module will be presented online, and no study material will be posted for this module. | |||
