| Purpose: Students who complete this module can explain the functioning of the human immune system, including the innate and acquired immune system, and can identify and explain the mechanisms involved in various immune-related conditions. They can also describe the processes involved in haemostasis, blood coagulation and the thermal regulation of the body.
