| Purpose: This module aims to equip prospective candidate teachers with a comprehensive understanding of the Natural
Sciences curriculum within the GET school level, with a particular emphasis on the knowledge strands of life and
living, planet earth and beyond, energy and change, and systems and control. It goes beyond traditional teaching
approaches by exploring how knowledge and skills can be effectively integrated in the classroom, especially in the
context of the rapidly evolving field of artificial intelligence. By the completion of this module, students will not only
have a clear vision of the essential skills and knowledge needed to become successful science teachers, but also a
deeper understanding of the impact and implications of technological advancements within the realm of Natural
