| Purpose: The purpose of this module is to enable students to demonstrate knowledge of and engagement in financial risks and sources of market risk affecting organisations by explaining the risks and risk factors. Students should also be enabled to understand the complexities and uncertainties of applying management of market risk by identifying and evaluating the risks of instruments in a portfolio. Furthermore, students will understand how to apply the management of market risk by identifying and evaluating the risks of instruments in a portfolio. Students should be able to interrogate various market risk management methods in order to formulate market risk management solutions for the organisation and be able to present and communicate market risk management strategies. |
