| Purpose: The purpose of this module is to provide the student with advanced knowledge and skills of logistics. The module demands a high level of theoretical engagement and intellectual independence in the learning process and requires critical analysis and explorative judgements within the context of current logistics management issues and practices. This, in turn, will enable students to make a positive contribution to the integration of internal processes within a firm and the total logistics supply chain, thus making it possible to meet customer needs at the lowest possible total logistics cost. |
