Purpose: This module will be useful to students who need to develop a well-rounded and systematic knowledge base about the design, use and management of HRM related technology, information and metrics systems in organisations. People credited with this module are able to demonstrate a specialised and detailed knowledge about and insight into the challenges, processes and practices involved in using technology, information and metrics to improve HRM in organisations. They understand how technology can provide relevant decision support mechanisms for HR decisions and supporting transactional HR activities.
