| Purpose: This module is intended for students pursuing a career in the field of ornamental horticulture. The purpose of this module is to enable students to develop advanced knowledge and applied competence in the theoretical and technical processes underlying greenhouse crop production. This includes the necessary understanding of the principles behind greenhouse operarions and management. Students who complete this module will be able to: create an optimum growth environment in a greenhouse for ornamental crop production, produce specific ornamental crops in a greenhouse using appropriate growth conditions and cultivation practices, prevent and resolve common problems that occur in greenhouse crop production. |
