| Purpose: To provide students with a working theoretical and practical knowledge of the general principles of financial accounting, a basic knowledge and understanding of transactions essential to complete adequate accounting records encountered in transactional practise as well as a thorough knowledge of the concept of trust money, including the applicable legislation, rules and accounting treatment of trust money. | |||
