| Purpose: The specific purpose of this module is designed to build the necessary knowledge, understanding, abilities and skills required towards becoming a competent practicing Professional Engineering Technician. This module provides students:
With the knowledge on AC Machines, three phase Transformers and three phase Machines
1.With the educational base required for registration as a Candidate and/or a Professional Engineering Technician with ECSA (Refer to qualification rules).
2.Entry to programmes such as Advanced Diploma.
3.Entry to an Advanced Diploma upon successful completion of a work-integrated learning component, or a combination of work-integrated learning and coursework, equivalent to at least 30 credits but not to exceed 120 credits.
