| Purpose: The purpose of this module is to equip students with knowledge, skills and to practically apply the theory and principles of crime prevention at an intermediate to advanced level. The module will equip students with the skills to understand crime prevention in the African context, problem-solving in crime prevention, crime analysis, community and stakeholder dynamics and partnership policing.
This module will enable students to practice the principles of Africanisation, Ubuntu, humanizing policing practice and social responsibilities within communities that they serve.
