| Purpose: The purpose of this module is to provide students with theory and practical information regarding identification of challenges which learners experience on a personal or academic level. Students will be introduced to a range of readings to enable them to develop innovative and contextually relevant skills in the field of personal and academic assessment in education settings. Students are required to gain an in-depth understanding of the contextual disadvantages and social problems contributing to personal and academic problems within the South African school context. |
