| Purpose: To equip students with knowledge of the presuppositions of different theological theories and their related philosophies. The module incorporates in the material presented: (a) A continuing emphasis on the question "What is theology?". (b) An exposition of different approaches to doing theology, here noting the relationship between theology, philosophy and the sciences. (c) The study of the presuppositions and the basic theoretical development of fundamental concepts and lines of thought of different types of theology. |
