| Purpose: This module is part of the BA with specialisation in Archives and Records Management. The purpose of this module is to equip students with relevant and appropriate knowledge, skills and competence to explain and analyse the processes to be followed in appraisal, retention, disposal and archival acquisition of records. The module also equips students to be able to draft and compile a retention schedule with disposal instructions applicable to organisations in particular contexts. |
