| Purpose: This module equips students with knowledge and skills to work with primary sources as a major tool used by historians. Students will
ﾕ be introduced to the study of primary sources
ﾕ explore the significance of primary sources for the study of Church History today
ﾕ gain a broad understanding of the situation the authors found themselves in
ﾕ explore the nature and characteristics of the church and its development over time
ﾕ examine examples of Christian writings from different stages in the life of the Church
ﾕ understand the motives behind and methods used by authors. |
