Inhlanyelo Hub’s Ide8tion workshop series made powerful strides in both Middelburg, Mpumalanga and Potchefstroom, North West, offering aspiring and established entrepreneurs, creatives and problem-solvers a unique space to reimagine solutions and unlock innovation.

The Potchefstroom workshop, held from 12 to 16 May 2025, and the Middelburg workshop, from 26 to 30 May 2025, brought together spirited participants from diverse backgrounds, all committed to thinking differently, collaborating meaningfully and solving complex problems with practical solutions. With a blend of hands-on activities, design thinking principles and expert guidance, participants were encouraged to explore fresh perspectives and push the boundaries of conventional innovation.
Reflecting on the course, Amogelang Marengwa, the Learning and Programme Development Coordinator, shared: "We received over 83 applications from the Unisa community, spanning academics, staff, current students, and alumni, which marks a remarkable milestone for Inhlanyelo Hub."
He added: "This overwhelming response reflects a clear appetite and enthusiasm for this kind of initiative. It underscores the fact that both aspiring and established entrepreneurs see real value in the support we offer. We firmly believe that nurturing creativity and encouraging collaboration are essential drivers of innovation."
