On 10 September 2025, Inhlanyelo Hub will officially launch the first cohort of the Bosadi Artisan Creative Media Business Startup Programme. This follows a selection process taking place on 3 and 4 September 2025, during which 25 participants will be chosen after completing an Ideation Workshop.

The Bosadi Creative Media Startup Programme is an introductory, hands-on training initiative aimed at aspiring female creatives, filmmakers, content creators and media entrepreneurs. Designed for beginners, the programme provides a comprehensive foundation in storytelling through visual media.

Participants will experience a blend of interactive lectures, practical workshops and collaborative projects in a real-world studio environment. By the end of the programme, they will have the skills to conceptualise, plan and produce short films, digital content and branded media projects, empowering them to pursue careers or business opportunities in the growing creative media industry.

Highlighting the importance of the programme, Prof Raphael Mpofu, CEO of Inhlanyelo Hub, said, "This programme empowers participants to turn creativity into opportunity, tackling unemployment and gender inequality while advancing the Catalytic Niche Area of Feminist/Womanist/Bosadi theorisations by unlocking women’s potential in the creative economy."
