Unisa Executive appointed to chair the SABC Board
Unisa Chief Financial Officer, Mr Khathutshelo Ramukumba, has been appointed by President Cyril Ramaphosa to serve as the chairperson of the newly appointed SABC Board. The board was announced by the Presidency today (18 April 2023). The names of board members were finalised by Parliament late last year (2022). In terms of the rules, the last leg of the appointment process was for the President to confirm the appointments.
The second Unisan appointed to serve on the Board of the SABC is Mr David Maimela (Director: Executive Support, Office of the Principal and Vice-Chancellor). Mr Maimela also served on the previous SABC Board.
