The University of South Africa (Unisa) mourns the passing of Dr Vuyo Mahlati, development expert, inspirational leader and champion for social justice and women’s rights. Dr Mahlati was also the Trustee and Chair of the Development Commission of the South African Women in Dialogue (SAWID), with whom Unisa has had a strategic partnership since 2016.
The university, in partnership with SAWID, will be hosting the memorial service of Dr Mahlati.
