| Purpose: This module equips students with critical and creative thinking skills essential for ethical decision-making in professional contexts. It is particularly relevant for students in fields such as psychological counselling, social work, healthcare, nursing science, public administration, accounting, business studies, environmental management, engineering, and related fields.
Students will engage with ethical theories and frameworks as they apply to one of the following domains of applied ethics: bio-medical ethics, business ethics, or environmental ethics. The module fosters sensitivity to diverse ethical perspectives and develops the ability to analyse, evaluate, and respond to complex ethical dilemmas through informed moral reasoning.
