Purpose: Syllabus/Content: 1. A Compass for African Christian Leaders: Introduces the foundations of African Christian leadership by defining what it means to be African, Christian, and leader. It presents the "leadership compass" as a guide rooted in faith, culture, and context to help believers become agents of positive change. 2. The need for African Christian Leadership: Explores Africa's pressing social, economic, and political challenges in the light of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), calling for leaders who bring hope, justice, and reconciliation through faithdriven action. 3. The Character of an African Christian Leader: Focuses on moral and spiritual formation, emphasizing humility, integrity, and service over power and prestige. It promotes ubuntu values and the five pillars of ethical leadership: integrity, servant leadership, accountability, justice, and inclusivity. 4. Strategic Christian Leadership in Africa: Equips leaders with practical strategies to address Africa's real-world problems through collaboration, prophetic witness, and faith based action that promotes reconciliation, stewardship, and transformation.
