Cape Town hosts impactful open day

Unisa staff engage with prospective and current students

College of Accounting Sciences students and Unisa staff attend the student indaba

Unisa is hosting a series of open days to meet the academic needs of current and prospective students around the country. The most recent open day was recently held at the Cape Town campus in the Western Cape. Staff from various administrative support departments and colleges facilitate the open days. Unisa open days have recently reverted to face-to-face events post the pandemic, providing prospective and current students with the ideal opportunity to explore various study options available at Unisa.

The College of Accounting Sciences used the opportunity to engage with their students at a student indaba. The indaba attracted several students and allowed them to engage on topics such as the SAICA accreditation, plagiarism and other issues relating to their studies.

The open days are impactful as they provide sound career guidance to prospective students and prepare them to apply to the university for the 2023 academic year. In addition, concerns and enquiries from current students are dealt with as part of student support.
