UNISA has been made aware of a fraudulent website that provides students with incorrect contact details to the University and presents itself as the Unisa Florida Campus website. Students calling these numbers are presented with a list of banking details including Capitec Bank, Pep Money Gram, ABSA Bank and First National Bank in order to deposit study fees.

Please note the following:

  • These accounts are NOT Unisa bank accounts and the contact details are NOT that of UNISA. UNISA has a single website and does not use secondary websites.
  • The UNISA telephone number is 080 000 1870.
  • The official UNISA website is www.unisa.ac.za.
  • Payment methods and banking details are available on the link below on the official UNISA website. The Unisa website has a web page with Unisa's payment methods and banking details: www.unisa.ac.za/paymentinfo
  • All changes made by UNISA, where students are affected, will be communicated via official communication channels, including our official website including myUnisa.

When making any payment to Unisa, please use the information provided on this web page. Unisa will never publish alternative banking details on another web page, nor will we send you alternative banking details via e-mail or request you telephonically to make payments to an alternative bank account.
