Completing the Academic Integrity Course

We have noticed that some students are encountering difficulties progressing through the Academic Integrity Course, particularly when reaching Unit 6. This is often due to incomplete activities in the previous units. To ensure a smooth experience and avoid any delays in your course completion, please take note of the following important requirements:

1. Complete all activities thoroughly

Each unit contains interactive activities and assessments that you must engage with. Simply clicking "Next" without completing these activities may result in them not being logged as complete. All completed units are indicated in green on the left pane.

2. Click "Complete" after each unit

The system only registers your progress if you manually click "Complete" at the end of each unit. Failure to do this means the system does not recognise the unit as completed, preventing further progress.

3. Achieve at least 80% in assessments

Each unit includes a formative assessment that you must pass with a minimum of 80%. If your pass mark is below this, you may need to retake the assessment to meet the completion requirement.

How to fix issues if you are stuck at Unit 5

If you find yourself unable to proceed beyond Unit 5, it is likely due to missing activities in previous units. To resolve this:

  • Go back to each unit and ensure you have completed all the required activities.
  • Manually click "Complete" at the end of each unit where you may have forgotten to do so.
  • Check your assessment scores and retake anywhere you did not achieve at least 80%.

If you continue to experience issues after checking these steps, please send an e-mail to mymodule22@unisa.ac.za for further guidance.

Wishing you the best as you complete the Academic Integrity Course by 30 March 2025.
