Dear Unisans
You may be aware of the appeal made by Unisa’s Principal and Vice-Chancellor, Prof Mandla Makhanya, to Unisa staff, students, alumni and the general public to make donations to the Unisa Ubuntu/Botho Disaster Relief Initiative to alleviate the hardships being experienced in Mozambique, Zimbabwe and Malawi following the havoc wreaked by Cyclone Idai.
The Gift of the Givers organisation has informed the university that in order to effectively help communities consistently, particularly after the disaster, the following is still required:
Unisa Muckleneuk Campus (Preller Street, Muckleneuk, Pretoria)
Unisa Sunnyside Campus (Corner of Justice Mahomed & Steve Biko Streets, Sunnyside, Pretoria)
Unisa Science Campus (Corner of Christiaan de Wet Road & Pioneer Avenue, Florida)
Unisa Graduate School of Business Leadership (Corner of Janadel and Alexandra Avenues, Midrand)
Unisa Cape Town Campus (15 Jean Simonis Street, Parow, Cape Town)
Unisa Durban Bram Fischer Campus (27 Bram Fischer Road, Durban)
Unisa East London Hub (10 St Luke’s Road, Southernwood, East London)
Unisa Polokwane Hub (23A Landros Mare Street, Polokwane)
Unisa Rustenburg Hub (Corner of OR Tambo and Steen Streets, Rustenburg)
We trust that you will reach out to your fellow Africans in need and give your serious consideration to making a donation towards this very important cause.
Best wishes
The Unisa Management Team
