Prof Ndivhuwo Ndou

I am Ndivhuwo Ndou, Chair of the Department of Industrial Engineering.

The team of the Department of Industrial Engineering comprises two administrative personnel members, two associate professors, two senior lecturers, seven lectures, three junior lecturers, and one technician. This team is well constructed to assist you in navigating your academic journey with Unisa. Administrative issues are taken care of by the administrative personnel, while academic matters are dealt with by the academic staff (lecturers).

The Department offers four programmes: HEQF-aligned qualifications which are Diploma, Advanced Diploma, BEng Tech Honours and MEng Industrial Engineering.

Unisa has state-of-the-art laboratories in place that are used to acquaint students with the practical component of the theory that would have been covered in the modules. The Department of Industrial Engineering has dedicated laboratories for Pneumatics, Hydraulics, CNC Turning, CNC Milling, Robotics, and many more.
