Mpho was a member of the South African Police Service for 14 years and 8 months before joining Unisa in 2020. She served in various divisions, namely: Component Crime register, Section Policy Standards and Compliance, Division Visible Policing, Section Partnership policing, Division Human Resource, SAPS Crime Intelligence Academiy, Forensic Science laboratry and Cleint Service Center.
