CE Project: ZAPP This project study situates itself in the area of educational transformation through the inclusion of indigenous knowledge systems, specifically those pertaining to South African poetry practices and traditions. It wishes to investigate the effects and impacts of a pedagogic intervention based on indigenous poetry practices and traditions. The intervention itself would be based on the use of indigenous knowledge systems and multimodal approaches to the teaching of poetry where poetry tends to be based on western analytical, pedagogic and assessment traditions.
