Responsibilities

Dr Zengele is the Coordinator of the programmes of the department; programme manager for ACE Leadership; Module Coordinator for Bachelor of Education Honours degree. He also serves in the Work Allocation committee of the college. Other committees that he is involved in are Student Disciplinary and Appeals committee as well as the college’s representative in Institutional Employment Equity.

Thulani Zengele: is a senior lecturer and program manager in DELM. He has been in education as a teacher, departmental head, school principal, lecturer and senior lecturer for the past 33 years. His research interests include educational policy, management and administration with special focus on teacher unionism. He has presented research papers and published at national and international levels. He authored a book on teacher unionism in South Africa in 2009 and is an executive member of SACHES, a member of EASA, INTED and KENTON.
