Mapheleba Lekhetho is a senior lecturer in the department of Educational Leadership and Management in the College of Education. He has served in various management capacities in the field of education which include being a school principal and senior inspector of schools. He has taught several courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in the areas of education management and educational research. His main research interests include school effectiveness, school improvement and education management. He has conducted research and published papers in these areas. He has initiated several interventions intended to improve the performance of primary and secondary schools in the public examinations in Lesotho. He is a member of the following international associations: International Congress for School Effectiveness and Improvement (ICSEI) and International Professional Development Association (IPDA).
