Purpose statement:

The purpose of this programme is to equip senior leadership with appropriate knowledge, skills and values that will assist the participants to deal with leading & governing in an ethical and sustainable way.

Executive development programme in leadership, ethics, governance, and sustainability will assist leaders to reflect on ethical and governance dimelama's that modern organizations are facing to remain sustainable and in understanding the role of governance -towards success

Modules:

EXLEG01 - Leading Sustainable Organisations

Content: This module draws from a variety of literature on leading change which covers knowledge, skills and values that each successful leader needs to appreciate as they navigate their way in the modern-day organisations. Our syllabus will cover amongst others the following topics in an integrate set of lessons, discussions sessions, projects that will follow a problem-based approach and case studies: 1. Leadership Archetypes 2. VUCA Leadership 3. Understanding your organisation (organisational behaviour) 4. Self-Mastery, organisational transformation & Leadership impact 5. Responsible Leadership and impactful leadership 6. Social Consciousness and Strategy 7. Values based leadership and organisational sustainability

EXLEG02 - Ethical Decision Making

Content: This module draws from a variety of literature on Ethical Decision Making which covers knowledge, skills and values that each successful leaders need to appreciate as they navigate their way in the modern-day organisations. Our syllabus will cover amongst others the following topics in an integrated set of lessons, discussions sessions, projects that will follow a problem-based approach and case studies: 1. Building Trust in an organisation 2. Leadership and Ethics (Models of ethical Decision) 3. Ethic codes and Frameworks 4. Ethics within the Self-Mastery and organisational transformation 5. Dealing with Ethical Dilemmas

EXLEG03 - Organisational Governance

Content: This module draws from a variety of literature on governance which covers knowledge, skills and values that each successful leader needs to appreciate as they navigate their way in the modern-day organisations. Our syllabus will cover amongst others the following topics in an integrated set of lessons, discussions sessions, projects that will follow a problem-based approach and review of relevant case studies: 1. Organisational Governance and key theoretical models 2. Organisational Governance within the Global world 3. Taxonomies of governance systems 4. Composition of boards and their roles of the board 5. Managing conflicting interests with the organisations 6. Managing organisational risk and compliance 7. Managing organisational performance 8. Need for organisational sustainability 9. Reporting function within the organisation 10. Dealing with organisational governance breaches

EXLEG04 - Organisational Sustainability

Content: This module draws from a variety of literature on sustainability which covers knowledge, skills and values that each successful leader needs to appreciate as they navigate their way in the modern day organisations. Our syllabus will cover amongst others the following topics in an integrated set of lessons, discussions sessions, projects that will follow a problem-based approach and review of relevant case studies: 1. Global pacts for sustainable futures 2. Organisational contributions to the triple challenge (poverty, unemployment, and inequality) 3. Sustainability and Prosperity for development 4. Systems Thinking for sustainable organisations 5. Scenario planning tools for sustainable organisations 6. Values based leadership for sustainability 7. Leading sustainability within organisations (social, economic and environmental dimensions)
