The Audio-visual Collection consists of an extensive collection of media:
Except for microtext, language courses and some videos, audiovisual material is only available to students who have registered for the particular courses.
Students who want to borrow items from the Audio-visual Collection at the Main Library need to complete issue cards. The items are issued to them at the Audio-visual Material Users' Assistance Desk on level 4 of the Main Library. Music recordings may only be issued to students who are registered for music courses and to staff members. Please book in advance if you wish to use the video facilities and the slide programmes in the Main Library or branch libraries.
Reader printers are available in the Main Library to use microtext material. Photocopies may be made of the microtext material. Undergraduate students pay 30c for each photocopy. Please note that all photocopying is subject to the provisions of the Copyright Act of 1978.
Please make an appointment in advance if you wish to view the art slide collection in the Main Library.
