Community Learning

The Community Learning Unit provides Unisa students residing in extended parts of the Western Cape region (outside of the Cape Peninsula) with area and/or town visits. These visits focus on information sharing, academic advising, student development and academic and social seminars. The Community Learning Unit assists students with:

• online advising, support and training using MyUnisa and MyLife.
• in-person support sessions through local town and area visits.  
• institutional skills enhancement programmes using digital technologies.
• academic development programmes, in collaboration with institutional partners, and
• a range of academic seminar series on academic, community-based and social topics
