Postgraduate Support

The Postgraduate Support Centre supports postgraduate students to become scientifically fluent in developing advanced research and writing strategies, by supporting students in all stages of the research write-up process.

The Postgraduate Support Centre offers academic development workshops, and one-to-one consultations where facilitators will guide students to:

• critically engage with scientific texts.
• analyse and understand scientific writing conventions.
• brainstorm and compile thesis chapters.
• apply feedback based on supervisor engagement.
• Join postgraduate writers circle to present and share their research endeavours. 

Workshops are generic in nature, and schedules and notes will be made available throughout the year to address critical aspects of research methodology, design and writing.
