Our graduate programme blends theoretical learning of hard and soft skills with practical experience. Through a number of rotations, you are exposed to application and technology architecture through the disciplines of analysis, design, build and testing of systems to the operation, maintenance and support of live production environments. Upon completion of the programme, you will have the necessary experience to kick-start your career and identify your first home in the Standard Bank Technology team, a place where you can contribute to the broader success of Standard Bank Group.
We work on almost all technologies and we are encouraged to be on the cutting edge to give our business an advantage. Some of the common technologies include: JAVA, Angular, GO, C, C#, C++, AWS, AZURE, Salesforce, AKS, Docker, Terraform, Kubernetes clustering, SQL (Oracle, Sybase, MS SQL Server, Mongo), Matlab, Source Code repositories (GIT, SVN), Bitbucket Server, GIT Lab, SourceTree, Agile framework (JIRA), Confluence Wiki, Scripting (Murex, Java, Shell, Unix), VBA.
