Spring is in the air, and so are graduations at Unisa!

Kicking off on 04 October 2022, Unisa’s spring graduations across the country will embrace a new crop of outstanding graduates on what will undoubtedly be one of the most memorable days in their lives.

Graduations at Unisa symbolise the pinnacle and culmination of the arduous work both students and academics put in over the years. The university takes pride in this sacred tradition that seeks to honour, recognise, and reward outstanding effort, academic success, and excellence.

Spring graduations will commence today (04 October) in the ZK Matthews Great Hall at the university’s main campus in Tshwane. There will be three sessions a day at 10:00, 14:00 and 18:00 on the following days:

• 04 to 06 October
• 11 to 13 October
• 18 to 20 October

This will be followed by graduation ceremonies in Durban and Cape Town as follows:

Durban (sessions at 10:00, 14:00 and 18:00 daily)

• 31 October
• 01 to 03 November

Cape Town (sessions at 10:00, 14:00 and 18:00)

• 11 November

Congratulating the newly minted graduates, Professor Puleng LenkaBula, Unisa Principal and Vice-Chancellor, says: ‘Unisa has armed you with all the requisite knowledge that will hopefully enable you to thrive anywhere in the world, with good prospects. As a graduate of Unisa, you are encouraged to transfer your knowledge to transform your family, community and society with a local and global outlook.
