The Unisa Campus Health Clinic has established the following with the support of the Directorate: Institutional Development and the Portfolio: Operations and Facilities:
The latter is in alignment with the current National Department of Health Programme. Unisa has responded to the national vaccination roll-out plan and has scaled up its vaccination programme in the PSET environment in line with the Higher Health directive.
Unisa staff and students are encouraged to participate in the voluntary on-campus vaccination programme. Vaccinations will be administered in the Protea Restaurant, OR Tambo Building, Muckleneuk Campus on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 09:00 to 15:00, effective from Wednesday 13 October to 17 December 2021.
The clinic will remain open strictly on an appointment basis for primary health care needs.
Employees and students who wish to participate in the Unisa vaccination programme must have pre-registered on the Electronic Vaccination Data System (EVDS) self-registration portal, with reference to the following guidelines:
For those who want to be vaccinated through this programme must please bring along their Unisa staff card/student card and identity card/document. If you do not have medical aid, you can still participate in the vaccination programme.

Unisa staff and students not close to the Muckleneuk Campus can go to their nearest vaccination site. See below the detailed provincial sites, with a breakdown of districts and sub-districts. You are advised to identify the district and then find your nearest vaccination site.
