The Unisa Directorate: Counselling and Career Development is thrilled to invite you to Cognia's 2024 NewLaw Career Series, running from August 20 to August 29. Cognia will offer six engaging virtual sessions that provide an in-depth look into the alternative legal services sector and the expanding field of legal tech.
This series provides valuable insights into the NewLaw landscape, exploring its role in the legal ecosystem and the practical aspects of delivering legal services across five core areas.
Highlights of the series:
  • Expert speakers: Gain perspectives from leaders at major law companies including Consilio, Radiant Law, and Novcon, as well as from local and international firms such as Webber Wentzel, Herbert Smith Freehills, and Ashurst.
  • Diverse topics: Each 60-minute session will delve into a different facet of alternative legal services, from modern litigation and contracting processes to exploring opportunities available for graduates.
All law students and students in related fields like project management and information technology who are considering a career in the legal sector to sign up today. The event is open to all law students, regardless of year, and you may attend as many sessions as you like.
