Unisa participates in a prestigious education fair benefitting prospective postgraduate students

In pursuit of Unisa’s strategic objective to enhance its global presence, on 2 and 3 June 2023, the university’s Marketing Directorate under the Department of Institutional Advancement, embarked on a journey to Nigeria, Lagos, to participate in a prestigious Lekkside International Education Fair, aimed at captivating the attention of stakeholders seeking to embark on its master’s or doctoral journeys.

Exhaustive engagement between Unisa’s representative and prospective students

The fair targets persons interested in studying abroad, providing them with an opportunity to connect with institutions of higher learning representatives from across the world. Among the institutions, only Unisa stood as a representative from the coveted realm of the Global South, specifically the Southern African Development Community (SADC) region. Excitement permeated the atmosphere, with participants demonstrating a keen interest in exploring academic offerings presented by Unisa.

Among the activities, the team showcased Unisa’s application process, the innovative modes of tuition delivery, impressive array of programmes, and the university’s unparalleled international presence. Relevant information was meticulously disseminated to the eager audience, leaving them with an understanding of Unisa’s rich academic landscape. The response from the diverse audience sharing common interest in the university’s master’s and doctoral programmes, left an indelible impression of determination among those yearning to embark on their educational journeys with Unisa.
