Update: assignment submission platforms for 2018

Assessment submission platforms and Courier services for second semester 2018

Unisa has a number of platforms that you can use to submit your assessments (assignments and portfolio’s). We recommend, however, that you submit your assessments online via myUnisa, wherever possible.

Submit your Assessment electronically

We strongly advise you, where possible, to submit your assessment via myUnisa.

You also have the option to submit assessment electronically at Unisa regional offices and at Unisa regional libraries. Unisa has provided self-help terminals at the regional offices where you can submit your assessments online via myUnisa.

Please note: All assessments submitted electronically will be marked online. Marked assessments will be return to you electronically, that is, via your myLife e-mail account with a link to a soft copy of your marked assessment.

Submitting hard copy assessments

You have a few options available to you when submitting hard copy assessments:

You may now submit your hard copy assignments via Unisa's contracted companies: SKYNET, Katlego  and UPS (for international students). Click on the links below for more details about their service points:

Please note: Once you have dropped off an assessment at an official Unisa courier service point the courier will return your assignment to Unisa at no charge to you. Should you wish for your assessment to be collect from you, you will need to contact DSV and pay the relevant courier fee.

Unisa assessment boxes
If you live near any official Unisa campus or regional office, you may submit your assessment via Unisa's assignment boxes at these centres.

South African Post Office
Although we do not recommend this option, you can also submit your hard copy assignments via the South African Post Office.

I wish you well with your studies in 2018.

Kind regards
Deputy Registrar
