Due to the Covid-19 pandemic followed by the National Risk-Adjusted Level lockdown and the cancellation of all Autumn 2020 graduation ceremonies, Unisa was unable to print certificates for completed degrees, diplomas and higher certificates. Fortunately, staff members have now returned to the office on a rotational basis to resume with the printing and couriering of certificates. Unfortunately, an unknown delay in couriering certificates is inevitable.
We once again encourage students to ensure that all their addresses and mobile numbers are updated/correct on the Unisa system.
The statement you have received is a legal document that can be produced as proof of completion, pending receipt of your certificate.
